Mark Dickson

Mark Dickson is a leader of multi-disciplinary teams for multi-faceted businesses and projects, and is adept at delivering advisory services and multi-billion dollar programs in a global context. Mark’s background is in professional services providing widely diversified technical and business management skills across geography, industry and function. Mark brings a broad understanding of industries such as urban development, infrastructure, resources, transport, aged care, telecommunications, information systems, research and development and defiance in a regional, national and global context.
His focus has been in the development of the governance and support structures for effective strategy implementation, through program delivery and the establishment of high performing teams with esprit de corps and a culture of sustainable service delivery.
Mark brings experience as a non-executive director serving on Australian and international boards. Mark has experience as a board chair and has chaired Board Audit, Remuneration, Governance and Development Committees.
A Fellow of both the UK Institute of Directors and the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Mark has demonstrated knowledge and experience in good practice governance; expertise developed both as an executive and as a director. As a Chartered Director Mark is committed to continuous development and maintenance of currency in global governance and leadership.
Mark is a past Chairman of the Board of the Project Management Institute (PMI), a global association promoting the practice and the profession of project management; based in the USA but with 300 Chapters representing over one million project professionals across 200 countries. PMI is a global business with annual revenues of $200M and assets of $500M.
Mark currently is the Chair of the RSL Lifecare Asset Portfolio and Development Board Committee overseeing the review, development and maintenance of Assets in excess of $1.5B.
Mark Dickson has been a regular keynote presenter to global conferences on the topics of leadership, project governance, project delivery and strategy implementation.
