“PMI can assist younger generations of PMs by bridging the gap between university and industry. I believe that fostering diversity and inclusion is crucial for the success of any team. Having said that, I will make dedicated efforts to promote an inclusive culture in PMI Adelaide SA Chapter and other organisations with whom I am involved.

Hossein is a Portfolio Strategy, Planning, and Analysis expert with 15 years of experience across diverse infrastructure sectors including Resource, Construction, Oil & Gas, and Energy. He is also a lecturer of Project Management courses at South Australian universities.

Hossein has a PhD in Project Management and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP). Hossein was a volunteer, Director and Board Member at PMI Adelaide SA Chapter between 2017 and 2022. During his time at PMI Adelaide SA Chapter, Hossein contributed to several initiatives including establishment of the chapter marketing strategy, communication channels, and revitalising the mentorship program. Hossein used to run PMBOK and PMP Exam Prep courses at PMI Adelaide SA Chapter between 2018 and 2021, where he assisted several chapter members to obtain their PMP certification.

Hossein is passionate about assisting the younger generation to establish and develop their career. Possessing both industrial and academic background, Hossein strives to assist younger generations by bridging the gap between university and industry. Hossein believes that fostering diversity and inclusion is crucial for the success of any team. Having said that, he will make dedicated efforts to promote an inclusive culture in organisations with whom he is involved.
