Lanre is a Chartered Professional Engineer in Mechanical Engineering and certified Project Manager (PMP) with a career in several industries including Defence, Mining, Energy and Building. Throughout His career, He has contributed to projects ranging from small to very large developments, Lanre is passionate about infrastructure projects as an instrument to implement change and improve the quality of life in communities.

He has been an active volunteer with PMI for 7 years as an events coordinator and Secretary of the PMI Adelaide chapter and a part of PM as a Life Skill. He will continue to serve as the Secretary in the incoming board.

Lanre is interested in the growth of young people and is keen to see the chapter broaden its reach and deepen its impact by growing the next generation of project managers through various initiatives, He is also looking forward to building on the chapter’s medium-term strategy in line with the PMI Global strategy that will see the chapter become the foremost project management community in SA.

PMI’s commitment to promoting best practice in project management through the PMBOK and other certifications is great to be a part of.

Lanre believes that the combination of engineering (science and technology), project management and leadership are effective to tackle any of the problems facing local communities and the world at large through problem solving and value adding projects.
