Kunj Mistry

KunjKunj is a self-driven and results-oriented information technology project coordinator at Bridgestone who thrives on organization, communication, and business management. His career journey has been a fascinating blend of challenges and achievements, all driven by a passion for continuous learning and development.

Kunj is a certified Scrum Master and Scaled Agile Framework 6.0 practitioner, and holds an MBA with a specialization in Project Management from The University of Adelaide, complementing his Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. With a background in Engineering and Project Management, Kunj has had the opportunity to lead complex projects and refine his skills in stakeholder management and negotiation. He attributes his success to paying close attention to detail and being adaptable to various project management methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Agile, and Waterfall.

Kunj has hands-on experience with an array of tools like Azure DevOps, MS One Plan, MS 365, MS Project, Trello, and Gantt Project, which helps him streamline project processes efficiently. His journey began as an Emergency Services Operator, where he handled critical situations and developed crisis management skills while developing his communication abilities.

Kunj began his volunteering journey at the Project Management Institute Adelaide as an Events Coordinator and then advanced to the role of Deputy Associate Director of Events. This progression allowed him to further develop leadership, communication, and management skills, while also gaining invaluable insights through networking with professionals from various industries and sectors.

He served as the Vice President at the University of Adelaide Project Management Society. In this role, he crafted and executed marketing strategies, collaborated with industry leaders and university management, and hosted multiple networking events for students at the university. His efforts resulted in record-high event attendance and established brand awareness and growth.
