Presentation: Prioritising Project Capability and Surviving Scrutiny
Presentation Overview:
In an environment where global and local growth is predicted to be low for some time, cost centres will come under increasing pressure to demonstrate the value they deliver. For all project professionals who are conscious of their contribution to the organisation’s delivery of strategy, it is important to grapple with the concepts or maturity and capability as they come under further scrutiny. How does an organisation define its ability to differentiate, deliver strategy and compete? This is an answer executives will be asked not just by themselves but also shareholders. How project professionals communicate the benefits of their Organisational Project Management (OPM) capability will determine the attitudes executive’s gain about the organisation’s ability to deliver strategic initiatives and the support they will provide to develop and retain project management talent.
Join HSI’s Managing Director Will Noble who will share insights developed by HSI’s Dr Terry Cooke-Davies into how maturity and capability models differ and discuss the benefit they have for the improvement journey and the project professional.
